Solify.me is looking for experienced Solar Designers to join our team on a contract basis. If you have a strong understanding of solar design principles, experience with Aurora Solar, and proficiency in CRM tools like Zoho, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Create accurate and efficient solar system designs using Aurora Solar.
- Analyze roof layouts, shading, and system performance to optimize energy output.
- Work with sales and operations teams to ensure design feasibility based on project requirements.
- Maintain detailed design documentation and update records within our Zoho CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with local solar regulations, building codes, and utility requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in solar design (residential and/or commercial).
- Proficiency in Aurora Solar or similar solar design software.
- Understanding of electrical layouts, shading analysis, and energy yield calculations.
- Experience with Zoho CRM or similar project management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with NEC code and local permitting requirements.
- Knowledge of battery storage integration.
- Prior experience working with solar EPCs, installers, or consultants.
