Speech Therapy Digital Tool Consult.
This is a multiple-position available posting. We need between 3 and 6 total Speech Therapists (degree required) and persons who have utilized Speech Therapy (any skillset, but must have used a Speech Therapist for several months or more).
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has approved us to apply for a full SBIR grant to develop a completely new Speech Therapist's Digital Health Software Tool. This tool is entirely unique to the Interactive Communication Tool space, using live 3D Avatars, multi-camera-multi-microphone inputs, designed to be used by Speech Therapists for their clients - to be used both in conjunction with a live-visit and also to be used independently by the client alone in-between sessions. This allows the SLT to acquire and service a much larger client base, which is an urgent need in the US and around the world.
This current position posting is for a LIMITED INITIAL CONSULT that is intended to lead to a long-term consulting commitment for the life of the development cycle (several years). This initial consult is simple: A single hour of your time, to review a 3 page software proposal that was approved by the NSF, and to provide your written one-to-two page analysis and opinion. If you agree that the software as proposed would be valuable to Speech Therapists and their clients, then we would seek to engage you long-term for consulting throughout the grant and development cycle as long as that lasts.
