SSRS Report Developer (Long-Term)

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) developer to join our team on an ongoing basis. We manage a large, complex SQL Server database and regularly need new reports built or existing ones updated.

What You’ll Do:
Use SSRS to build and maintain reports on our report server.
Work with our internal team to understand requirements and deliver accurate, performant reports.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for speed and efficiency.
Collaborate with existing reporting staff — we have a supportive team you can reach out to for help and guidance.
Take ownership of report requests as they come in through our ticketing system.

What We’re Looking For:
Solid experience with SSRS and SQL Server.
Strong SQL skills — not just writing queries, but understanding performance, indexing, and query optimization.
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
Willingness to commit to at least 20 - 25 hours per week
Independent freelancers only — no agencies, please.

Pay:
$15–$20/hour is our target range, but we’re open to negotiating based on experience and skill level.
