Job Title: Virtual HR Generalist


Job Description:


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Virtual HR Generalist to join our team, focusing on delivering exceptional HR support to our clients, primarily in the manufacturing sector based in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our client services team, you will collaborate closely with other HR professionals to manage and execute a wide range of human resources functions remotely. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our clients receive high-quality HR support tailored to their unique needs, with a strong emphasis on utilizing the UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) platform for payroll and HRIS management.


Key Responsibilities:


- Client-Focused Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns on behalf of our clients. Provide guidance on company policies, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive work environment.

- Recruitment & Onboarding for Clients: Manage the full recruitment cycle for our clients, from job posting to candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, including virtual orientations and training sessions.

- Payroll Management: Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our clients using the UKG platform. Address and resolve any payroll-related issues that arise.

- HRIS Administration: Maintain and update client employee records in the UKG system. Generate reports, track employee data, and ensure compliance with data management policies.

- Compliance Support: Ensure all HR activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, particularly those specific to the manufacturing industry. Conduct regular audits of HR processes for our clients to maintain compliance.

- Performance Management: Support the development and implementation of performance review processes for our clients, including setting up evaluation frameworks and facilitating feedback sessions.

- Employee Engagement: Develop and execute virtual employee engagement initiatives tailored to the needs of our clients’ manufacturing workforce. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee satisfaction.

- Training & Development: Identify training needs for client employees and coordinate virtual training sessions to enhance skills and productivity. Track training completion and effectiveness.

- Benefits Administration: Assist client employees with benefits enrollment and queries. Coordinate with benefits providers to ensure timely and accurate benefits administration.


Expected Deliverables:


- Monthly HR Reports: Provide detailed reports on key HR metrics for each client, including recruitment, employee turnover, payroll accuracy, and training completion.

- Client Employee Relations Support: Address and resolve all employee relations issues for our clients within 48 hours of escalation.

- Recruitment and Onboarding: Ensure that all open positions for our clients are filled within an average of 30 days, with 100% completion of onboarding tasks within the first week of hire.

- Payroll and HRIS Accuracy: Maintain a 99% accuracy rate in payroll processing and HRIS data management for our clients.

- Compliance Audit Reports: Conduct and submit quarterly HR compliance audits for each client, ensuring zero compliance violations.


Requirements:


- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within the manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on client service.

- Technology Skills: Proficiency in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) for payroll and HRIS management is required.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Certification: HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent is preferred.

- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage remote communication and virtual meetings.

- Spanish skills a plus.

- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to handle complex employee relations issues and HR challenges with discretion and professionalism.

- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a virtual environment.


Time Frame for Delivery:


This is a full-time, remote position within our client services team. The selected candidate is expected to start within two weeks of the job offer and deliver all key HR functions effectively for our clients within the first 90 days. Regular performance reviews will be conducted to ensure alignment with client expectations and our company’s HR goals.
