We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress developer to optimize the speed and performance of two websites:

Objectives:
- Achieve a 90+ score on desktop and a 70+ score on mobile in Google PageSpeed Insights.
- Ensure the websites remain fully functional and visually intact after optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Image and Video Optimization:
- Optimize heavy images and videos without compromising quality.
- Implement lazy loading for images and videos where applicable.
Code Customization:
- Minimize and optimize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to reduce file sizes and improve load times.
- Avoid reliance solely on typical plugins; instead, focus on custom code modifications for efficient performance.
Plugin Configuration:
- Utilize performance plugins like Jetpack and Nitro Speed for enhancements.
- Configure and customize plugins to suit the specific needs of the websites.
Caching and Compression:
- Enable browser caching and server-side compression.
- Optimize database queries and implement a robust caching strategy.
Responsive Optimization:
- Ensure that speed improvements apply to both desktop and mobile versions.
- Test and resolve any performance issues specific to mobile devices.
Thorough Testing:

Requirements:
