Clinic management platform with EMR and mobile application for medical professionals and patients of telecare (remote) rehub

As a developer, I was tasked with developing a new healthcare platform that adhered to US requirements for resilient and secure healthcare systems. The platform needed to be able to handle multiple availability zones and standby database replicas to ensure high availability. I also needed to create a system for managing appointments and overall workflow to streamline core business processes and keep patient health data up-to-date.

To achieve this, I developed and implemented the system from scratch, including features such as convenient appointment booking, access to SOAP notes and clinical information, an accounting system, and a notifications module. As healthcare functionality can be complex, I had to ensure that the platform met both customer needs and health-related plans. I also had to integrate parts of the previous platform and determine the appropriate end-to-end testing for multi-directional business scenarios.

Migrating user data while ensuring HIPAA compliance was also a critical aspect of the project. I safely and completely transferred existing user data from the old scattered system to the new platform's database, while ensuring that the solution was developed to be HIPAA compliant and did not violate any US laws or regulations on personal data protection.
