A PhotoView is Juwan the Curator's unique take on portrait photography and journalism, combining on-location photo shoots and interviews of intriguing subjects into a vivid, descriptive photo essay. First, I'll assist you in determining a location that best fits your personality or desired vision. I usually perform PhotoViews in public locations, but they can be done in studio or a private location upon request. Locations outside of the 5 boroughs may require additional travel fees. After that, I'll help you determine your outfit or look for the shoot, if needed and then we get to the photo shoot. I'll work with you to make sure you're not nervous; I'll already have starting questions ready, but it will flow like a generic conversation, and I record with my phone in my pocket, so you may not notice. Give me about a week, and I'll have the picture and transcript ready to go! I will publish them online, unless you request otherwise. You will receive all unedited JPGs (RAW if previously requested) and a transcript of the interview. Audio, Edits, and other extras can be requested.
