Today, Monday, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced that about 20 countries have offered to provide new security assistance to Ukraine to "counter Russian forces."
“During this second meeting of the Defense Contact Group for Ukraine, 44 countries came online to discuss the military support that should be provided to Ukraine at this point in the conflict,” Austin said, stressing that “the meeting was very successful. Many countries will provide artillery ammunition, defense systems, tanks and other armored vehicles that the Ukrainians need.”
Austin directed special thanks to Denmark, "which announced that it would provide a Harpoon missile launcher to help Ukraine defend its coasts," and thanked the Czech Republic for its "substantial support, including the recent donation of attack helicopters, tanks and missile systems
