Bağcılar District Governorate announced that 4 children were caught throwing metal trash cans and swearing at the Atatürk bust in the garden of a school.

According to the news of DHA, one of the four children who entered the garden of the closed Bağcılar İÇDAŞ Primary School threw the metal trash can on the Atatürk bust.

Those moments were recorded with a cell phone camera. While the video shared on social media received a reaction, 3 children detained by Bağcılar Juvenile Bureau were transferred to the courthouse after their proceedings. Bağcılar District Governorate announced that the other child was also taken into custody.

In the statement made by the Bağcılar District Governorate, "The suspects named F.B, E.Ç, E.T and Y.T, aged 13-16, who were involved in the incident involving the Atatürk bust in the primary school garden in our 15 July neighborhood on July 13, 2022, were caught. Legal action has been initiated. The judicial investigation on the matter is continuing," the statement said.
