• 4.5 years of experience in data analysis and processing using Hadoop tools. • Having 1.5-year experience as Team Lead. • Excellent knowledge in writing SQL queries and doing data analysis. • Good experience in ETL(Extract,Transform and Load). • Having hands on experience on Hive, PIG and Sqoop for real-time & historical data analysis. • Involved in writing Hive queries to load and process data in Hadoop File System. • Familiar with Load and transform large sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data in Hadoopecosystem. • Having experience on using OOZIE to define and schedule the jobs. • Involved in importing data from MySQL to HDFS using SQOOP. • Sound knowledge and practically well versed with all the stages of STLC and SDLC. • Sound knowledge of investment banking domain and very familiar with terminologies and business flow (i.e. Trade life Cycle, Equities, Hedging, Futures, options, Corporate Actions, Short selling). • Familiar with Negative testing, performance testing and regression testing & Test plan preparation. • Sound knowledge of Waterfall Model, Agile methodology (SCRUM), Iterative model etc • Excellent communication skill and committed to deliver before deadline.
