A majestic scene of lightning striking the clock tower in Mecca .. documented by a Saudi photographer
While some people tend to hide from the sound of thunder and lightning, Saudi photographer, Yasser Bakhsh, documents a collection of charming photographs of the famous clock tower.
Bakhsh was in the Kudai neighborhood, in the city of Mecca, during the rain.
He hesitated at the idea of going home to fetch his professional camera. The reason is that he was afraid that the rain would stop.
Thus, he decided to monitor a group of photographs with his phone camera, during the rain and the continuation of the phenomenon of lightning and lightning in the sky of Mecca.
Some of Bakhsh's photos focused on the clock tower, whose top appears to be a meeting point for lightning strikes that struck the country last week.
Speaking to CNN in Arabic, Bakhsh said: "Witnessing the phenomenon of lightning strikes the clock tower is a frightening and horrible scene."
The filming experience was not without challenges, most notably monitoring the phenomenon of lightning strikes with his phone instead of a professional camera.
Not only that, but also choosing the optimal angle, standing in the rain for more than two hours.
And these photos won the admiration of many people, as the views exceeded 5 thousand views on his personal accounts.
It is reported that Bakhsh has been practicing photography since 2011.
He works mainly as a photojournalist, where he shoots all events, but he specializes in sports photography (football).
The Saudi photographer hopes to always show Mecca in its best image, especially as it is the focus of the world's attention.
In turn, he hopes to be in Qatar to cover the 2022 World Cup.
