With more than 18 years’ experience providing end-to-end learning and performance improvement solutions for a variety of clients, I have a track record of engaging stakeholders, business partners, subject matter experts and team members to design and implement talent strategies that impact organisational results. Through my work, I have had the opportunity to define roles and competencies and determine performance expectations and management. I have significant experience translating those performance expectations into learning maps and frameworks to define the holistic learning journey. I have experience with strategic planning, budget cost analysis, defining instructional design processes and templates, training needs analysis, instructional design and evaluation. I have a strong track record of converting clients’ needs into viable billable solutions developing long term business relationships. I literally wrote the book on learning and performance improvement as co-author of the Institute for Performance and Learning (I4PL, former Canadian Society for Training and Development) Competencies for Performance and Learning Professionals ™. This work represents the standards by which training professionals in Canada are certified (CTDP and CTP), as well as the basis for the Canadian Awards for Training Excellence (CATE).
