A well experienced CAD designer with a vast knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD. I have gained experience in the Museums and Exhibitions Sector in which I have Designed mechanical and structural designs for some of the worldwide leading companies within this industry such as: Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre (SAASCC) Crystal Maze, Tower of London, Hamley’s toy shop, Dig It, National Museum of Scotland; National Army Museum; Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Museum; Postal Museum; HMS Caroline; Glasgow Science Centre and Jaguar Land Rover. Most of these exhibits can be used by up to millions of times per year. I have also gained experience working in the Motorhome industry as a Design Engineer where I have been a lead design across a numerous range of vans in which varied from prices around £50,000 and upwards. Through doing this I have gained a great knowledge of tried and testing industry standard process and ways in which furniture is designed to be built. I have also learnt key processes in this industry such as drawing up parts for CNC, Laser, 3d Printing. I have also learnt to operate a CNC and have self taught on a small laser machine for engraving and wood cutting materials. I taught myself Corel Laser for this way of designing. I am a very hard working Designer who is passionate about their work and I believe I am very good at problem solving anf working to meet deadlines. I have access to my own version of SolidWorks and photoshop programmes.
