My work experience over the past 20 years has included teaching high school English, and writing and editing training materials for Apple, Pearson, PowerSchool, and School Improvement Network. Although most of my writing assignments required technical writing, some assignments have required creative and humorous writing and coming up with hooks for distance-learning and trainer-led courses. Writing assignments that allow me flex to my creative muscle are my favorite. One interesting, parting fact about me: when I was a writer and editor for Pearson, my co-workers nicknamed me "Eagle Eye" because I would consistently catch errors that everyone else had missed.
