My name is Dan Mahoney. While I am a year out of university, I have compiled writing, research, and administrative experience with various organizations. I am based on the east coast of the United States. A majority of my experience is in the international affairs and travel industries. Most recently, I taught English as a Second Language (ESL) in Hong Kong at a private center called Monkey Tree. At Monkey Tree, I taught conversational English, phonics, reading, and writing to students aged 3-11. Besides teaching, I also wrote and revised lesson plans, as well as composed written student progress reports. Before moving to Hong Kong, I interned at different organizations, primarily as research and administrative support. I also worked as a personal and research assistant for an author and presenter based in Washington, D.C.
