Academic Writing

I excel at researching and writing on a variety of topics, with an emphasis on scientific and technical writing, grants and proposals, application letters, and editing. I deliver these in a timely manner and with the highest quality.One challenging document I wrote and edited was a literature review on the field of my doctorate study. This was authored in collaboration with three other researchers and, after typesetting by the publisher, became a 32-page article with nine main sections and over three hundred references. This article was a significant resource for newcomers to my field and was awarded recognition by the publisher as one of the five most highly cited papers of the preceeding five years.I have an excellent track record for receiving funding for my research proposals. My Ph.D. thesis was funded by both national and provincial funding institutions (the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada - NSERC, and Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research
