Journalist and radio personality with experience working with
international NGOs and conducting research in West Africa and East Asia.
I recently graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in
African Studies and History with honors. While at IU, I wrote two
honors theses entitled, "The Tro-Tro: An Ethnography of the Lorry in
Contemporary Ghana" and "African Agency on Paper" based on two years of
my fieldwork and archival research on transportation and petition
writing in Ghana. I also served as the Music Director for the WIUX radio
station, wrote for the Indiana Daily Student Newspaper, and volunteered
with three African NGOs: Touch a Life Orphanage, Mawuvio's Outreach
Programme, and Giving Back to Africa.
I am currently looking for a full-time position working with an
international NGO, conducting research, or writing/reporting for a
newspaper or radio station. For more information please visit my online
