I have a vast and broad experience designing products using various materials for clients including large companies. I am a Solidworks expert and product development and design is my passion. I truly love every aspect of product development from brainstorming and idea generation all the way through and including production. I love the challenges designing brings about, designing for optimum user experience, aesthetics, manufacture-ability and production. I typically design with production in mind, often I design with the specific class of machine that I believe will be used at production. I feel designing with lean production in mind can save secondary operations along the way, which economically can be the difference between the product’s success or failure. When designing, I try to provide my clients with maximum value, which is one reason I try to design with potential intellectual property considerations in mind. My Solidworks experience is extensive and I have been designing with this software for nearly a decade. When creating parts in Solidworks I design each feature intelligently with speed and future changes in mind. Over the years I have designed parts to be machined, cast, forged, injection molded, formed from sheet metal and wire formed. I have extensive experience working with very large often complex assemblies. I utilize 3d Printing extensively in my product development process. I have been working with 3d Print technology for close to a decade and I use a Makergear M2 3d Printer in my studio. Nothing compares to the advances a designer can reap from holding and operating a rapidly produced part or assembly. I print using both PLA and ABS and have 20+ colors at my disposal. On average I print 6-8 hours each day and if required I can inexpensively use this technology on your project.
