Admin Assistant/ Proofreader

I recently retired from a full time job. In this pandemic, I really would prefer just working from home. My work experience ranges from Human Resources and Administration to Building Administration. I was head of Human Resources and Administration in several organizations and my last job before I retired was in building administration. As head of HR and Administration, I handled human resources, procurement and office administration. The job required me to have good communication skills - written and verbal. I needed to communicate a lot and at all levels. My good grasp of the English language was very helpful. I also needed to communicate a lot with my business partners and suppliers and I honed my negotiation skills through the years. It was always challenging but when you love what you do, you just do it and enjoy. My last position was as Building Administrator which included handling the Business Center, the food courts and restaurants in the buildings. I also handled the art galleries in the properties I managed. This was a career shift for me but I truly enjoyed it. We were exceptionally challenged when the pandemic started and we had to redesign business processes and create quasi public areas for business transactions. We need to implement a lot of changes and new process, including regular disinfection of the floors, to address the pandemic. Now that I am retired, I am looking for a part-time job that I can do from home. All my past experiences will come into play for me. I am a results-oriented person and very resourceful. I am really good at networking. I have the knack for finding the right person or resource to get things done. I graduated from the University of the Philippines (UP) with a degree in Special Education. I only taught for a year and realized I wanted a Human Resources role so I enrolled at the School of Labor and Industrial Relations in UP as well and finished my Diplomate in Human Resources. Having said all that, I would really want to do and administrative assistant or do proofreading. As an Admin. Assistant, I know I can provide excellent support. I am very meticulous in writing so I think I would also do well as a proofreader. For any more questions or clarifications, please let me know.
