• Email management/filtering • Calendar management - booking appointments with clients, arranging conference calls. - following up with clients/customers - sending thank you and other reminder emails or cards in the mail. • File management (organizing files using Dropbox, etc.) • Database building (e.g. updating email or contact lists in your Access or Excel databases) • Research on certain topics for blog posts, newsletters, brochures, or others. • Managing your blog (basic WordPress Skills) - publishing posts on your blog (content you provided) - filtering, replying, and commenting on your blog to increase links to your site. • Set-up social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) - manage and update social media accounts • Participating in discussion forums or message boards (more promotion!) • Personal errands (purchasing gifts for loved ones / family members online) • Hotel and flight booking • Transcription (transcribing voicemail, video or audio, podcasts, etc.) • Data entry • Creating basic reports (reports on weekly tasks, deliverables, sales) • Preparing slideshows (Powerpoint presentations) • Recruitment (source for other team members like writers or graphic artists) - Production of materials (meetings, recruitment) • Proofreading documents • Creating and/or updating Harvard CV’s • Creating and/or updating NIH Biosketches (old versions or new versions) • Assisting with grant applications (foundation or NIH) - Creating and/or updating timelines or checklists for grant processes • Event promotion and planning - Catering for events
