I worked Administrative Assistant/Travel Coordinator for 4 years. I have a lot of experience using Microsoft Office programs like Word, PowerPoint and ExcelAs a part of the Admin Team I have to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities at the same time. I prioritize different tasks like purchasing and booking of tickets and come up with a game plan on completing them. I truly enjoy my work because I'm gaining knowledge in different facets of the company and learning about new topics or how to do new things. I enjoy helping others, whether it’s coworkers or customers. Also, In my previous position I was tasked with handling of booking for car, hotel and travel for the employees working in Southeast asia and US. For me it's a quiet challenging to organize the calendars and the travel booking for the CEO. In this role I had to quickly get used to tasks being handed to me last minute and that were all high priority. I would really have to write down everything that needed to be done to see which had the biggest impact and which was the most important. Often times the CEO needs was the most important, so I found that it all came down to time management and prioritization.” Furthermore, I have a lot of people needing my assistance to get things completed, and that can get stressful. I can honestly say that I’ve gotten comfortable handling stress and high pressure situations. The thing that seems to work best for me is to list out everything that needs to be done, put it in order by prioritization and then crossing out the task as soon as it’s completed. I don’t only do this at work, but also in my personal life. This sounds small, but something as simple as list making really keeps me on task and focused. And, as a part of the purchasing team, I was often praised for my ability to buy the best quality products, goods and services for the company at the most competitive prices at once and was recognized by the CEO for my negotiation skills.
