I grew up in the South East of Romania, near the Danube and Dobrogea. I spent four years in Brasov for studies and I climbed the mountains every week-end in that period... I discovered the world of light there. Every photo has a story, it's a part of my life. A real photographer is actually painting his own life. When I climb the mountains I imagine that I go to a very coloured and perfumed photo shop. I imagine tones of spotlights caught on paper and floating on the air.
I am somewhere between painting and reality, somewhere between art and science. I am possessed by images. I carry a bag with me, a bag with fixed frames, and when I see something similar with a frame in reality I stop and take a photo. I am a photographer.
