Running only your dev team with an Agile strategy isn't enough. The entire organization, from product, marketing, and project management should be educated about the Agile practice. This is the philosophy of Uncle Bob Martin, one of the best Agile enthusiasts of our age, and I learned this directly from Uncle Bob when he came to Shutterfly Inc. in the early 2010's. His influence helped our organization launch the best Photobooks infrastructure possible across many teams of collaborators. This project was a failure until it became the highest grossing product at Shutterfly ever. This was possible because of the Agile methodologies Bob Martin taught us, and we still use successfully today. As your Agile consultant, I will use my tech expertise to quickly understand the technical state of your current project, while acting as a Senior level mentor to all your developers. I will work with your product and marketing teams to determine if expectations for the project are accurate. I will work with your project management teams so that they can start using the same language and strategy for planning across the company, no matter if there are multiple development teams. Each of your teams will continuously improve their working environment with frequent feedback about whether or not working conditions are ideal. Management will have a good understanding of metrics that need adjusting in order to complete certain projects on time. The majority of my work will be as scrum master to the dev team so that the team has a representative capable of communicating complex scenarios to upper management. No more talking in code
