Alison Felix wins the 400m relay at the Tokyo Olympics
With 20 golds in the Olympic Games and the world championships, American Alison Felix is the most decorated sprinter in the history of athletics and an icon in sprints.
Her Olympic mark is great with seven golds, three silvers and a bronze between 2004 and 2020, and she also won 18 medals at the World Championships, including 13 gold, three silver and two bronze.
An extraordinary record that she fostered after she gave birth, in a rare case among professional mathematicians.
In November 2018, Felix gave birth to her daughter, Camryn, in complicated circumstances, after 32 weeks of pregnancy. The girl had to stay about a month in neonatal care.
Despite her happiness, the moment marked the beginning of the end of Felix's long collaboration with Nike, as she did not hesitate to criticize her policy towards pregnant athletes, after her contract was reduced by 70% during her pregnancy.
