America: Rallies after the Supreme Court

New York, USA (CNN) - Marches took place in various regions of America, after the US Supreme Court canceled the case known as "Roe v. Wade", Friday, saying that there is no longer a federal constitutional right to abortion.

Under this resolution, from now on, every state limits its abortion rights, unless Congress takes action, while nearly half of the states have or will pass laws prohibiting abortion, while other states have enacted strict measures to regulate abortions.

Protesters and supporters gathered at the Supreme Court building in Washington, D.C., and in other cities nationwide, while similar demonstrations were planned across the country over the weekend.

According to CNN research, the groups that will organize the events include organizations such as Planned Parenthood, Ban Our Bodies, and the Women's March.

The result of the vote to cancel the case was: 5-4 in favor of the annulment.

According to the Guttmacher Institute, which supports abortion rights, four additional states are likely to ban abortions as soon as possible without federal protection.

At least 21 states have laws or constitutional amendments already in place that would push them to try to ban abortion as quickly as possible.
