Android is my main area of focus within the mobile app development industry, to which I specialize in server-client network communications. I have experience in popular Android libraries and frameworks, most notably Google Maps, Google Places and Google Firebase. I am familiar with many other Android libraries, specifically those that provide Material-Design features, client-server communications functionality, and graphics processing (Fresco). My knowledge of the Android ecosystem is complemented with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform for back-end development. I utilize the following technologies: Windows Server, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, along with associated modules that enhance their functionality. I have knowledge of many of AWS's services, particularly EC2 for server deployment for the purpose of database and file storage as well as the facilitation of network communications, S3 for data and content storage, and ET for video transcoding for HTTP adaptive streaming. I am also proficient with various web standards and protocols such as JSON, HTTP, websocket and streaming protocols for both video and Live streaming.
