• Conducting patent searches using various free or paid databases like Total Patent, Espacenet, USPTO, Patent Lens, Free Patents Online, Patent Scope, scifinder and preparing detailed reports/Landscape with respect to the relevant literature (patents/patent applications and non patented literature). • Facilitate in generating research ideas after analyzing the complete literature – Generation of various synthetic novel routes for further feasibility. • Work side by side with scientist in Chemical Research Division for development of new cost effective/novel/inventive synthetic route for the preparation of active pharmaceutical intermediates or key starting materials. • Drafted several provisional/complete/PCT patent applications and further national phase applications. • Providing Litigation/Prosecution Support, Drafting responses to office action issued: Prepare responses to the office actions (US, EP, Canada, India etc) and facilitate during prosecution for granting of various inventions. • Freedom To Operate analysis • Non-Infringement Analysis / Infringement analysis for various Jurisdictions • Invalidity Analysis • Patentability analysis • Patent Invalidation and Infringement - Claim Mapping • Identifying Critical Patents • Identifying Strategic Patents • Drafting Patent/Non-patent Applications • Responding to Office Actions • Patentability / Novelty Searches • PIV analysis (invalidation/non infringement)
