I have scant formal education but have been earning a living all my adult life as a creative writer and journalist, with my last job being Assistant Editor attached to Guyana's State print media "The Guyana Chronicle." Illness has made it necessary that I work from home but there are no online writing jobs available in my country; hence my exploration of other avenues to earn an income in my areas of expertise. With reference to requested positions I am positive that I can make an impactful contribution to whatever jobs I undertake. However, as aforementioned, I do not possess the requisite academic qualifications because consequences deterred my pursuit of higher learning. I am self-taught and have achieved, despite surviving an abusive childhood and marriage. If lack of academic qualifications defined a woman's goals-oriented constructs then a Maya Angelou's soul would have been buried with her mortal remains instead of glorified with her stunning poetic portraits - the caged bird would have never sung; an Oprah Winfrey would have been submerged beneath the atrocities committed against her instead of emerging as the global voice of the vulnerable as well as the powerful; and a Diana Spencer would never have given birth to the heirs of the English throne. I daresay I lack many things that this position requires, not having been privileged with support from anyone in my odyssey of pain and submergence of all my potentials for growth and development; but nevertheless I have emerged from the depths because I believe in many things that may not be appropriate for public expression, in a world where God seems to have been subsumed to human equivalences; but, if provided with an email address, I will yet attach my Resume and supporting documents authenticating my submission, along with samples of my work in the hope that my application will be given consideration.
