Application security is first line of defense and needs the most attention but often is neglected as most companies have tool based approach. In order to secure you application, you need incorporate security from an initial step to the last. That's where I jump in, which is : 1) if you are going to develop an application I can perform a quick requirement review and add security at each functionality. For each use case, I can develop an abuse case which willl build firm secure foundation of an application 2) On design stage I can develop a threat model, attack scenarios and recommend controls to mitigate those threats. 3) In development stage, I can do a quick code analysis and the best way you can mitigate those vulnerabilities at code level. 4) When it comes to testing an application, I do security testing even red teaming. 5) And last but not least, with every change/patch, I can either perform a security review or provide much smarter and automated ways via which you can incorporate security in your operations (DevSecOps)
