As I grew up watching ‘The Jetsons’ it made me realize that though it was “just a cartoon” with all the right gags and parody you’d expect, it was based on very real expectations for the future. The love for painting and the thought of painting my dreams on the canvas of reality mesmerized me. I could not think of any better way to achieve this than to help create buildings of tomorrow that meet the objective of Hedonistic Sustainability. Knowingly or unknowingly I grew up with the fact - ‘!rchitecture is art with responsibility’ and this plays a huge role in the well-being of the society. This brought me closer to the world of designing and creativity. I am very disciplined in my approach. I have developed skills in technology which will suit me well as a graduate in architecture, including high proficiency level in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Adobe Suite, SketchUp. For creating forms that work on certain parameters or maybe forms we can’t even imagine, I have started learning computational designing through many online courses and books. I believe ‘I mind needs books like a sword needs a whetstone if it is to keep its edge.’ That is why I read so much. This habit of mine introduced me to the field of Biomimicry and Biophilia. Towards the end of my 4th year, I began to realize what an important role nature can play in defining the future of designing and architecture. We are living in a very important era where we have access to so many designing tools we never had before. Be it AI/ Computational design, Material engineering or Biology synthesis.
