My experiences in my university years have granted me many talents, both socially and academically. Attending UCL (University College London) for my master degree and Gazi University, which is among the most successful universities in architecture played a significant part in this. During my 4 years in the university I learned to think critically searching for answer to questions such as “Who is the Architect?” and “What is architecture” and to design to meet the human needs as best as possible instead of aesthetic concern, while respecting environment. I had the opportunity to examine and learn elements that enable a building stand, preservation of historic buildings and changes in time with technology and history. We were eliminated in the final qualifiers of Rönesans Holding Design Sustainable Future concept competition I participated with friends from university. Competition taught me to attend different problems and coordinate in teamwork. While learning all these I used sketches as drawing software to express my imagination. I attended workshops and seminars to improve on software use. With the help of courses and personal efforts I learned and improved Revit Architecture and Photoshop programs. Workshops I know enabled me to meet new people, share experiences and discover cities I did not know. In addition to my academic work I completed two one-month internships. First one, site internship, was in Rönesans Holding Yozgat urban hospital. With the Site internship I saw progress and practice of works on site, work schedules and team work, cementing theoretical knowledge from school with on practical application. I did my office internship in Celal Abdi Güzer Architectural Workshop. There I had the opportunity to contribute to the design from the first lines to the practice stages. I participated Erzurum Snow Museum, Abdullah Gül University Technopark, Mersin Oncology Hospital projects in the Workshop. This enabled me to observe the importance on team work and multidisciplinary coordination and I could inspect design approaches for different projects
