Formally a member of the LES Layout Sub-Team aligned with the KSC manufacturing alliance efforts identifying applied best practices, processes to LES. By redefining entryway and the travel paths of materials coming into the shop as well as reorganized the work areas, tools and spare parts to make them more accessible to achieve peak efficiency to establish lean manufacturing/production technology and techniques. Designed a scaled floor Plan with HVAC, electrical lines, high pressure lines, landscaping, and machines with all of the data for that machine embedded in one master VISIO drawing. Evaluated options and benefits and feasibility for enhancing shop layout and machine placement to create more efficient effective work cells and to improve travel paths for materials through high bay.
