As an Senior Architectural Technologist and Designer I can be involved in all parts of a project, from Schematic Design until Building Completion. As part of a design team I have the skills to collaborate with Landscape Architects and Urban Planners where required. I have expertise in applying and integrating technical detailing and material technologies to develop a design solution into a concise set of construction documents. I can analyze and understand design intent in order to produce efficient and effective technical design solutions. With my experience as a Senior Project Lead, I can direct members of a design team to develop design solutions appropriate for to the context, budget and technical requirements of the project. Additionally, with my experience as a project lead, I can collaborate with the client, contractor and other professional disciplines to achieve a successful project. Often I'm most valued when I have opportunities to coordinate the design through all the phases of the project with my extensive knowledge of design, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction technologies.
