I have a degree in architecture, but since 2004 I have mainly dealt with architectural visualization.

I use 3ds max, vray, photoshop for postproduction, marvelous designer in case you need to model fabrics, cushions and the like. I also use substance painter for texturing objects with particularly complex textures.
