I'm an English major, and I type at 80 wpm (words per minute). What else can I say? Previously, I wrote short opinion pieces on popular media. I've also done a couple of research projects, which means I have experience writing about technical subjects. I possess a base of knowledge in advanced mathematics and neurobiology, among other things. While I am content to proofread my own work, I am also amenable to working with an editor (or you yourself) to redline what I write.
