I am a professional journalist with extensive experience of all aspects of writing, editing and design. My work has been nominated for several industry awards and I was runner-up in the Daily Newspaper sub-editor of the year for 2002, held by the company Newsquest in the UK. At present I work as a freelance sub-editor for a local paper. I also work as a researcher, writer and commissioning editor for a distance learning company and have recently written features for a publishing company based on their new releases. I set myself very high professional standards, am used to working under pressure, have never missed a deadline and love my work.
