I have written several articles on the Indus Valley script of South Asia and the Linear B script of Crete, which can be read on my page at www.academia.edu (type in Kate Price). I read Historical Linguistics at Cambridge University and hold a M.A.in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies (emphasis South Asia) from the University of Pennsylvania. I have also worked at several radio stations as a news writer/announcer and for a Bay Area arts magazine as a feature writer on local Bay Area artists. I was guest editor for a year (2009-2010) on the Epigraphic Society Occasional Papers, an academic journal based in Boston and the assistant editor for the SAVICOM Newsletter, an anthropological and ethnographic newsletter based in the Anthropology Department at the University of Southern California. I have also written p.r. copy for small private businesses.
