As a writer I have written, edited and produced books, magazines, TV shows, comic strips, a couple of records and the occasional business plan, but am perhaps best known as a journalist. My work for cutting edge youth culture titles such as VICE and Complex magazine has to date been published in more than 12 countries, and I was the founding Editor-in-Chief of RWD, the UK's No.1 urban music and style magazine. I helped grow RWD into one the UK's premier youth brands and one of the world's leading urban music websites, both of which have won several awards and now reach over 1 million people every month. I went on to create RWD's sister urban sports title, FFWD magazine, and in 2004 was hand-picked as one of the faces of Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown's Start Talking Ideas campaign to kick-start an enterprise culture among young people in the UK.
