Although I'm new to Guru, I'm not a novice in producing art and illustrations for personal and commercial use, just see my portfolios for starters! Now after having spent nearly 2 years illustrating bit-by-bit a storybook on wild horses, which in part is now complete, I find myself able to dedicate that time now to work on personal art projects to develop new works, while also being positively challenged from new commissions! I grew up drawing all the time. Coming from a family of accomplished artists, they helped develop my drawing skills through very constructive criticism in a comfortable environment. From an early age I could already capture the 'look' and likeness of an animal or expression. My areas of focus for art (although not limited to) revolve around my experiences and encounters with the beauty of the natural world and people who inhabit it. I am following my active career in Wildlife Conservation, currently completing research for my MSc in Forest & Nature Conservation. I deliver professional and original work, through my 'perfectionist' and close attention to detail. This trained skill also enables me to explore whimsical illustrative styles with the likeness of Beatrix Potter. Although I like to work in tonal pencils, ink and watercolour, I have worked on a range of mediums and projects locally within Europe, and internationally during my travels. This includes logo designs; interpretation and signage; and conservation and educational awareness (in the shape of large murals, educational materials, tutoring and workshops). Feel free to get in touch to discuss your ideas and vision, my artwork is always made so satisfaction is guaranteed. ~Looking forward to working with you
