Human remains found in suitcase
A murder investigation has been launched in New Zealand after human remains were found in suitcases that were bought at an Auckland auction. “The priority for police is to confirm the identification of the deceased so that we can establish the full circumstances behind the discovery,” the police official said.

Man arrested on suspicion of the murder of 87-year-old Irishman
Thomas O’Halloran was stabbed while in his mobility scooter in London. Originally from Ennistymon in Co Clare, he lived in the Greenford area of west London. A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
