Are your products and services selling like they should? If not then you need a good copywriter. As a copywriter, I do two things with my words… Provoke and evoke emotion. Bringing out an emotional response in your potential customer as I inform them of why they need to purchase your product or why they need your service to dramatically increase your sales. TESTIMONIAL: Human’s run on emotion, it overpowers everything else, logic, intelligence the lot. Think back to a time when you read through a sales letter and the entire time you were thinking to yourself, “I don’t need this, I hate how they are trying to sell this to me.” This type of sales copy does not provoke emotion. Now think back to when you’ve read through sales copy that, by the end, had you thinking emotionally, such as, “I really need this,” (Desire) or “This is going to change everything,” (Hope, Power) or “If I buy this for my partner they will love me more.” (Lust) These sales letter’s provoke an emotion response, which greatly increases the chance of getting the sale. This is what copywriting should do. So if you want to sell your products and services then you need to cause the reader to feel some type of emotion, and then while they are feeling the emotion, use a call to action that will get them to purchase your product or service. This is what I write, this is what I do. Can you do with more sales?
