I am a credentialed writer and editor and an award-winning independent publisher with over a decade of experience in writing and editing across multiple genres. My ability to plan, write, and edit for print and digital formats at any length and for multiple purposes is responsible for my wide-ranging skill set and editorial adaptability. I founded my own press in 2011, and in the years since have won national and international literary awards for my editing and production work; I have worked with a MacArthur fellow, Pulitzer Prize–winner, and other eminent individuals. My titles have been reviewed in national newspapers and magazines worldwide and have also received coverage in industry-recognized venues such as Publishers Weekly and Poets & Writers. I am responsible for all copy, digital and print, relating to an literary press that has quickly gained a reputation for producing the highest quality literature. I draw daily upon my English, journalism, and creative writing educational background (AA, BA, MFA), having started my career writing for a newspaper; as such, I consider myself meticulous yet agile. I am conscientious and dedicated and skilled at meticulously managing multiple writing or editing projects. I have taught writing in the community college system and have also served as an English and writing tutor for all age and skill levels.
