Project : Migration, Deployment, Maintenance and Support AWS Cloud based Infrastructure Role: AWS Devops/CI/CD Engineer Description: The project involves carrying out migration, deployment and maintenance applications from on premise to AWS infrastructure. · Responsible for setup, configuration, deployment & scaling of Java/Python based web and worker applications on AWS. · Responsible for designing and developing Cloud formation templates for building and configuring AWS resources like VPC, DynamoDB, ELB, RDS, EC2, ECS and S3 as part of the automation. · Responsible monitoring, optimizing, enforcing cloud security standards using tools like Security Monkey, Trusted Advisor and Nessus Tenable. · Automated infrastructure creation and management using Chef and Terraform templates. · Responsible for designing custom managed user and resource based IAM policies, groups & roles to control and manage user & application access to AWS resources. · Developed prototype for granting applications to use AWS resources using Active directory credentials by setting up SAML Providers, IDP, roles, trust policy, permissions policy and AssumeRoleWithSAML API. · Responsible for setting up and maintaining ELK stack using CloudFormation templates. · Developed Github integrations and webhooks using Ruby, Sinatrarb, Sidekiq, Git, Dynect Apis for asynchronous processing of Route53 DNS record requests. · Responsible for creating overall short and long term Cloud strategy for the organization from CI/CD, application performance, network, storage, disaster recovery, security, management, billing and budgeting, self service, monitoring and alerting, AMI management perspectives. · Responsible for cloud governance, cost management, usage optimization and monitoring using Cloudcustodian, AWS-dashing, Monitis, Sumologic, Librato and Netflix ICE.
