View My Work Experience: www.linkedin.com/pub/mike-bohner/43/16/7b9/ You might call me a graphic designer, then again I've been called many things. I could ramble on for pages and pages about my philosophy on design and how functionality is really just a higher level of form, but my guess is you'd probably lose interest after I get into the practical applications of impressionism in an attention-deficient culture. At the root of it all, my philosophy on design can be summed up with one basic question, “Does it work efficiently?” If a design doesn’t communicate effectively with it’s intended audience, it doesn’t work. If it doesn’t allow a user to get what they want, when they want it, it doesn’t work. As for efficiency, I believe the most efficient form of any system tends to be the simplest. In a complex world full of unnecessarily loud messaging blaring at an unsafe decibel level and endless channels of communication with increasingly annoying notification sounds, people crave simplicity; it's natural.
