I have 15 years of experience with Java and SQL (Oracle and PostgreSQL specifically). Most of this experience has come in the form of backend development for corporate websites. I have around 7 years experience in writing RESTful API's. This includes CRUD operations along with business logic, authorization, and validation that accompanies the endpoints. Over approximately the past 24 months I have been writing AppSync APIs using AWS Lambda and Python. As a result of this I have extensive experience with AWS CloudFormation and other AWS tools. One of my passions is retiring legacy software and replacing it with modern, updated infrastructure.
