Hello! I'm Gabe, a software engineer based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and I love to solve problems with code. After graduating from UTEP, I decided to start my career with the engineering team working on the cutting edge technology of Wireless Data at Nortel Networks. This evolved to working on 2G, 3G, and ultimately LTE technologies. I found myself wanting to try something new, which lead me to designing REST APIs as a Software Engineer with Pier 1 Imports. This move was exactly what I needed allowing me to move into exciting areas that otherwise I wouldn't have. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, retail businesses have taken a hit, and I find myself needing more.
