I am a professional with around 12 years of experience across corporate banking, team management, strategy and operations, as well as sales and marketing. In terms of qualification, I am an MBA (specialized in Finance and Marketing) and have also cleared all three levels of CFA. I worked in the banking sector for about 10 years (equity research and project finance) where my expertise was in building financial models, data collation and analysis, primary and secondary industry/ company research, projection of future income/ assets, and writing detailed reports. I worked on large scale debt funding of infrastructure projects from end-to-end: right from deal origination, to designing deal structure, industry research and analysis, financial modelling, writing credit review reports/ presentations, negotiating and documenting commercial terms and agreements, and aligning the needs of various stakeholders (such as risk, legal, compliance & the client). After a decade in banking, I shifted to the development sector in India to create impact in the education space. In my most recent role, I headed the recruitment function (outreach and marketing) for one of the largest Fellowship Programs in India at Teach For India (‘TFI’, part of the global 'Teach For All' network) where I led a team of ~22 people across the country. This role further honed my skills around strategy and operations, team management, data analytics/ problem solving, and business development in the unique context of the development sector. I am a quick learner, comfortable with diverse people, love numbers and problem solving, and work with passion and integrity!
