In this comprehensive training session, participants will learn the basics of using the UniFi Console to manage their network. The session will cover the following topics:
Accessing the UniFi Console: Participants will learn how to log in to the UniFi controller through a web browser.
Overview of the UniFi Dashboard: The layout and different sections of the dashboard will be explained, including the device panel, network map, statistics, and events.
Adopting Devices: Participants will be shown how to adopt UniFi devices, such as APs, switches, and gateways, to the controller.
Network Configuration: The process of configuring network settings, such as VLANs, subnets, and DHCP, will be covered.
Wireless Networks: Participants will learn how to set up and manage wireless networks, including SSID configuration, access control, and security settings.
Client Management: Participants will be introduced to the process of monitoring clients connected to the network, viewing their usage statistics, and blocking or unblocking clients as needed.
Maintenance and Upgrades: The session will explain how to perform regular maintenance tasks, such as firmware upgrades, device backups, and device resets.
Troubleshooting: Basic troubleshooting techniques, such as checking the event log and using the ping and trace tools, will be covered.
