I have been a tech writer for the Bay Area’s high tech industry since 1994, specializing in end user materials. Because I focus on a low- and non-technical audience, I do not specialize on one technology or technical field. Thus, I bring few assumptions into my work and my perspective stays fresh. This makes it easier to write to my audience. Among other subjects, I have worked with DVD, Architectural CAD, 3D Graphing, Oracle Implementations for Enterprise and Government, Handheld Devices, CMS, Semantics, Audio Testing, EDI, Two-factor Authentication/Security, Encryption, On-line Marketing, Compliance and Standards, Health Care, Health Insurance, Currency Trading, Mobile Apps (iOS and Android), SaaS, Manufacturing, Emergency Communications, Big Data, Patch Management and HIPAA. Besides working at home in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have traveled to work in Southern California, Texas, Belgium, and France.
