If you've completed your first draft, it's time for a beta read. This service provides an additional set of eyes on your manuscript before you dive into further revisions. I offer feedback on plot, pacing, characters, point of view, emotional agency, conflict, consistency issues, and world-building.Included in this service are in-line comments and a 1-2 page letter detailing the strengths and weaknesses of your story. You'll also receive up to two rounds of follow-up questions via email.
Please note that a beta read is not a replacement for a full edit. As a reader, I will provide my opinions and reactions to your story, but changes will not be made to the manuscript itself. If you decide to book a full developmental edit after the beta read, a discount will be applied to the package.
